Product Description
[Main Composition]
This product consists of cooling substances and various forms of outer packaging and fixing devices.
The cooling substance of the Liquid fever-reducing type NJWMX02 is composed of poloxamer,
polyethylene glycol, L-Menthone 1,2-glyceryl ketal, pentanediol and purified water. The fixing
device is made up of a press-type plastic bottle or a roller-type plastic bottle. The cooling substance
does not contain components that exert pharmacological, immunological, or metabolic effects. It is
a non-sterile product.
[Intended Use]
This product is used for local physical cooling of person with fever. It is only used on intact skin.
Product Property
1. Cooling Principle: After application, the product forms a cooling gel layer from a liquid state. It
achieves rapid dual physical cooling through heat absorption by the gel material and evaporation of
water.
2. Cooling Effect: Within 10 minutes of repeated application, the product can reduce temperature by
no less than 0.48°C (under simulated fever experimental conditions).
3. pH Value: The product has a pH of 4–8, which is gentle and non-irritating.
4. Physical Appearance: When the environmental temperature is below the gelation temperature, the
product appears as a colorless transparent liquid. When the temperature is above the gelation
temperature, it forms a colorless gel. It contains no or only a small number of bubbles and no
insoluble foreign particles.
[Contraindications]
1. Do not use on skin with ulcers.
2. Person with skin diseases and those with allergies should use with caution.
How to use
1. Clean the skin surface before use.
2. Apply the product evenly to the areas that need cooling (such as the forehead, the sides of the
neck over the carotid arteries, the inguinal region, the palms of the hands, and the soles of the feet, which are high-heat areas).
3. Reapply every 3 minutes or so (or when a white film appears), and adjust the frequency of
application according to symptoms.
4. Discontinue use after the patient's fever subsides. The white film can be removed by wiping with
a wet wipe.
Precautions
1. Avoid applying the product on allergic skin, wounds, eyes, or mouth.
2. If skin swelling, inflammation, or rashes occur during use, stop using immediately and consult a
doctor.
3. This product is suitable for children and adults. Infants and children should use it under adult
supervision or as directed by a physician to avoid accidental ingestion.
4. Do not cover on areas with sweat or hair, eyebrows, etc.
5. After use, close the bottle cap as soon as possible to prevent contamination and maintain
effectiveness.
6. Store the product in a cool, dry place or refrigerate for better cooling effect (but avoid freezing). If the product has turned into a gel, rinse the bottle with water below 28℃ or place it in the
refrigerator for 5-10 minutes to restore to liquid form.
7. After application, the product may feel sticky. After a period of application, a white film may
form, indicating that the water has completely evaporated. It is recommended to reapply. After use, simply wipe off with a wet wipe.
8. This product is a medical device intended for local physical cooling only and cannot replace
medication. If fever persists, please seek medical attention promptly.
